INFORSE South Asia is the South Asian chapter of the International Network For Sustainable Energy. Formed in 1992 at the Rio Earth Summit, it is a network of 50 NGOs active regionally and nationally in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. These NGOs work in the area of pro-poor renewable energy access, gender sensitive sustainable development and climate change resilience. Our members are actively involved in the international climate and development summits, bridging local level practice with policy at the national and international levels.
